The Antigua and Barbuda Civil Registry<\/a>, which was established on the 25th of September 2020 under adverse conditions during the covid 19 pandemic, begun celebrating its fifth anniversary as a distinct entity under the inspiring theme \u201cFive Years of Purpose, Perseverance, and Progress.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The week of activities reflects both gratitude for past achievements and anticipation for the future as the Registry continues to serve the nation with dedication.<\/p>

The celebrations commenced on Thursday, 18th September, 2025<\/strong>, with a Staff Retreat<\/strong> at the John E. St. Luce Conference Centre. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The retreat was designed to strengthen team spirit and renew focus on the Registry\u2019s vision, offering staff members an opportunity to learn, share, grow and recommit themselves to excellence in service.<\/p>

On Friday, 19th September, 2025<\/strong>, the Registry hosted its Media Day<\/strong>, appearing on Good Morning <\/em>Antigua and Barbuda<\/em>.<\/a> The team proudly highlighted the progress made over the past five years and shared its vision andgoals for the future with the wider public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The celebrations continued this weekend with an Anniversary Church Service<\/strong> on Sunday, 21st September, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.<\/strong> at the Ottos Wesleyan Holiness Church. <\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

This special time of worship and thanksgiving wasin acknowledgement of God\u2019s faithfulness while celebrating the Registry\u2019s journey of growth and service.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

On Monday, 22nd September, 2025, at 8:30 a.m.<\/strong>, staff gathered at the Civil Registry Compound for a moment of Special Prayer and Blessings<\/strong>, led by Rev. Kevin Hill-St. Romain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This time of reflection and dedication sought divine guidance for the Registry\u2019s continued success and its role in serving the people of Antigua and Barbuda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The anniversary activities will culminate on Thursday, 25th September, 2025<\/strong>, with the much-anticipated Open Day<\/strong>. This highlight event will showcase the Registry\u2019s services and achievements to the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Informative pamphlets about Civil Registry operations will be distributed, while Legal Aid representatives and private legal practitioners will be available to address questions and concerns. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To complement the day\u2019s activities, specially prepared anniversary snack boxes will be on sale for $25.00. Tickets are available from members of staff of the Civil Registry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the Civil Registry celebrates five years of purpose, perseverance, and progress, the staff and leadership remains committed to strengthening service delivery, building public trust, relations and shaping a future of continued excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yet each one was marked by a purpose true.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From humble beginnings, a vision took flight,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To serve with integrity, to stand for what\u2019s right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With hearts full of duty and hands ever steady,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We prepare for life\u2019s moments, ready and ready.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the cry of new birth to life\u2019s final breath,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From marriages formed to records of death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adoptions embraced, with stories to tell,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We bind every chapter where families dwell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Behind every form, every page we provide,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lies compassion and care, standing firm as our guide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A legacy spoken by those everywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It wasn\u2019t all easy some days tested will,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But perseverance held us, and holds us still.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With patience, with purpose, through challenge and strain,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We found strength in unity, joy after rain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So now we give thanks and raise banners high,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With pride in our hearts and hope in our sky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To five faithful years we now lift our cheer<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And salute the team who brought us here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We salute you, Team Civil Registry<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stewards of truth and of legacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
