<\/a>Congratulations go to the Mr. Grelon Luke\/Agricultural Science teacher and the students of Parham Primary School for their enthusiastic interest and active participation in the program, which was initiated just over a year ago. Their dedication and curiosity have truly kept the program vibrant and promising.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Parham Primary School is delighted to report on the successful harvest of our latest crop of Crimson Sweet watermelons. These delicious melons were planted on June 26th, 2025, and harvested between September 11th and September 17th, 2025. The watermelons, ranging in weights from 10 to 24 pounds, are a testament to the dedication and hard work of our school community.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Special thanks to Mr. Luke, who has demonstrated that he is a passionate agricultural science teacher, whose commitment made this achievement possible. He personally invested his own funds to purchase the seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and insecticides required for this project, all while sacrificing his summer vacation to ensure the students gained hands-on experience in sustainable agriculture.<\/p>

Despite facing significant challenges such as praedial larceny by community members and crop damages caused by sheep and goats from nearby areas. Mr. Luke, along with the school staff and students, remain committed to keeping this program alive and continuously expanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The school also wish to express heartfelt appreciation to their generous partners and supporters who believed in the school’s agricultural vision. Special thanks to Dews Hardware, Mr. Janeil Simon at the Department of Environment, Mr. Jason Shaw, Team Landscapers of Wadadli, Romeo Plumbing and Hardware, Central Marketing Cooperation, Maquedes Tropical Produce, Mr. Dewton Goodman of Green Creek Enterprise, and Mr. Mikaiah Francois from Darlington Kissed Family Farm. Their unwavering support and belief in the school’s agricultural program have been invaluable, and we commend them and other businesses that continue to support these types of efforts.<\/p>

As the school celebrate this successful harvest, we at the Ministries of Agriculture and Education will continue backing schools, teachers, and communities in their agricultural initiatives.
