Doctors say prolonged exposure to high heat can cause fatigue, headaches, dizziness and, in more serious cases, heat exhaustion. For children and young adults, especially in classrooms, staying hydrated is essential for concentration, energy levels and overall wellbeing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a public advisory, the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre said the simplest way to cope with the heat is also the most effective: drink water regularly. Officials recommend replacing sugary sodas and fizzy drinks with fresh water, which helps regulate body temperature, supports digestion and strengthens the immune system.<\/p>

Parents are being urged to pack reusable water bottles for their children, while teachers are advised to encourage frequent water breaks during the school day. Adults and the elderly are also reminded to listen to their bodies, with thirst often the first sign of dehydration.<\/p>
