The Calvin Ayre Foundation (CAF)<\/a> has reaffirmed its commitment to community safety and national service with a generous donation of EC$44,000 to the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The donation has gone directly toward the successful staging of the Force\u2019s Police Week of Events, an annual celebration that honors the dedication, sacrifice, and service of police officers across the nation.<\/p>

Speaking on the donation, Manager of the Calvin Ayre Foundation and Ayre Group Media Relations Specialist, Jamilla Kirwan, emphasized the importance of supporting institutions that play such a critical role in maintaining peace, security, and social stability. Addressing attendees at Thursday evening\u2019s Commissioner\u2019s Black-Tie Gala, she said:<\/p>

\u201cWe know that no amount of money can truly honor the full measure of your service and sacrifice. Still, it is with great pride that we present this contribution of EC$44,000 toward this year\u2019s activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our hope is that it not only helps make the week a memorable one but also stands as a clear reminder that the community deeply values and supports the men and women in uniform.\u201d<\/p>

In response, the Acting Commissioner of Police, Everton Jeffers<\/a>, expressed gratitude on behalf of the Force:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 57th<\/sup> Annual Police Week, under the theme, \u201cRising to new challenges and serving with greater dedication\u201d <\/em><\/strong>which started on September 07th<\/sup>, continues today with a cultural food festival; Full Bore Shooting Competition and drama production on Saturday, and culminates with a family fun day on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
