WISH continues to shed light on the critical issues including the need for a national<\/p>

response to ensure that the most vulnerable have access to a\ufb00ordable healthcare which<\/p>\n\n\n\n

includes mental health services such as counselling and therapy.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

New data released from the World Health Organization claims that over one billion people<\/p>\n\n\n\n

worldwide su\ufb00er from depression. This disorder is characterized by feelings of<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

hopelessness, lack of sleep, poor concentration, changes in appetite and thoughts of<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

self-harm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the WHO, suicide continues to be a \u201cdevastating\u201d outcome of untreated<\/p>\n\n\n\n

depression which shatters families and communities across Antigua and Barbuda and the<\/p>\n\n\n\n

wider Caribbean region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WISH assures its partners and supporters that those su\ufb00ering from unseen illness will have<\/p>\n\n\n\n
