Four Arrested for Stealing Watermelons<\/em><\/p>

The police have arrested four young men in connection with the theft of watermelons<\/a> from the Parham Primary School Farm.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

At approximately 12:00 p.m. on Monday, September 1, officers responded to a report, where several individuals were seen stealing agricultural produce from the school\u2019s compound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon the arrival of the police, the suspects fled the scene. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A 19-year-old resident of Vernons was pursued and apprehended, while further investigations led to the arrests of three others: a 20-year-old, an 18-year-old, and a 17-year-old, all of Parham<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are currently in police custody assisting with the ongoing investigations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda<\/a> continues to remind the public that Praedial Larceny is a serious criminal offence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Such acts not only deprive farmers and institutions of their rightful produce but also threaten the sustainability of local agriculture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The police will maintain a firm stance and take decisive action against anyone found engaging in the unlawful taking of crops or livestock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
