Tranquility Park Cemetery has officially opened with the burial of Janette Eloise Henry of Willikies, known as the \u201cLabour Queen.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hundreds of mourners, including Prime Minister Gaston Browne, members of the Antigua Labour Party and United Progressive Party Senator Alex Browne, attended the ceremony on Monday.<\/p>

Located along the Sir Sydney Walling Highway, the new cemetery was created to ease overcrowding at the St John\u2019s Public Cemetery. It features uniformed graves and plans for a non-denominational chapel.<\/p>

Henry\u2019s interment marks the first at the long-awaited site, which aims to provide modern, dignified burial facilities for Antigua and Barbuda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
