Prime Minister Gaston Browne says Antigua and Barbuda is close to resolving its water shortages, with new reverse osmosis (RO) plants set to boost daily production.<\/p>

Speaking on Point FM, Browne said an additional two million gallons of water per day will come online by next month, with a further three million gallons expected by early next year. He said the upgrades would allow the government to \u201ctake water off the table completely\u201d by meeting 100% of national demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Prime Minister acknowledged that some communities have faced temporary disruption due to ongoing pipe replacement works, but insisted the overall supply situation has been \u201csubstantially resolved.\u201d<\/p>
