Antigua Plans School Upgrades with CDB Loan<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Prime Minister Gaston Browne says Antigua and Barbuda will carry out major upgrades to its school facilities with support from a Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) loan.<\/p>

Speaking on Point FM, Browne said the government is investing in the expansion and renovation of the nation\u2019s schools, including Grammar School, Ottos Comprehensive and PARES Secondary. He noted that while remedial work is under way for the start of the new term, the larger construction and maintenance projects will be financed through the CDB facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Prime Minister said the improvements are part of a wider effort to keep the country\u2019s school plant in \u201cpristine condition\u201d and to expand capacity for future generations.<\/p>
