Antigua \u2018Practically at Full Employment\u2019, Says PM<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Prime Minister Gaston Browne has claimed that Antigua and Barbuda is now \u201cpractically at full employment,\u201d crediting ongoing investments in tourism, housing and infrastructure for creating jobs across the economy.<\/p>

Speaking on Point FM, Browne said the country\u2019s development drive has left few people without work. \u201cPeople are working,\u201d he told listeners, quoting a young man who said: \u201cWho not working is who don\u2019t want to work.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Prime Minister argued that policies pursued by his administration have expanded opportunities in both the public and private sectors, pointing to major hotel projects, housing schemes and government-funded infrastructure upgrades as key drivers of employment.<\/p>
