Police Continue Investigations into the Death of 18-Year-Old Kahleel Simon<\/em><\/p>

St. John\u2019s, Antigua and Barbuda, Thursday, 28 August 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The police are continuing investigations into the circumstances surrounding death of Kahleel Simon of Bolans.
The 18-year-old lost his life during a police shooting incident at Bolans on Wednesday, 27 August.<\/p>

The matter remains under active investigation, and is now being treated as a Coroner’s Case, where a Coroner’s Inquest is expected to be conducted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Acting Commissioner of Police Everton Jeffers has expressed his deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Kahleel Simon. He is assuring the family and the wider Bolans community that a full, thorough, and transparent investigation is being conducted.<\/p>
