The event brought together approximately 200 young workers from across the country for a day of learning, networking, and empowerment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ABWU Youth Arm President, Blair Rose, described the Congress as a pivotal moment for participants:<\/p>

\u201cIt gave young workers the motivation to start thinking outside the box, identify new opportunities and determine the necessary steps to pursue them,\u201d  Rose said. \u201cThe Congress also allowed for networking and I do hope to see some collaborations among future entrepreneurs who attended our session,\u201d Rose continued.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The 2025 Youth Congress, held under the theme \u201cAdaptability to Ensure Sustainability: Encouraging Entrepreneurship in Youth\u201d, featured three dynamic sessions and interactive discussions tailored to equip young workers with the skills and confidence to thrive in today\u2019s changing world of work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One participant was excited to share her feedback following the Congress. \u201cIt was really an eye-opening experience,\u201d the young woman shared. Reflecting on Sasha-Gay Middleton\u2019s presentation, she noted: \u201cIt doesn’t matter where you start: it’s where you\u2019re going, and you are the determining factor.\u201d<\/p>

According to Rose, the Youth Arm and the Union are delighted to have inspired many young workers to look beyond traditional pathways and consider innovative approaches to personal and professional growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe ABWU is committed to preparing the next generation of workers to be bold, creative, and collaborative,\u201d Rose added.<\/p>
