The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda has received a significant donation of electronic equipment from the People\u2019s Republic of China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her Excellency, Zhang Yangling, Ambassador of the People\u2019s Republic of China to Antigua and Barbuda made the presentation to Acting Commissioner Jeffers.<\/p>

The items include laptop and desktop computers, Projectors and Projector Screen, WiFi Routers, and other pieces of equipment that will enhance the Force\u2019s modernization efforts and improve its operational capacity.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Acting Commissioner of Police, Mr. Everton Jeffers, expressed profound gratitude on behalf of the Police Administration, noting that the contribution represents more than the provision of tools, but also the deep and enduring friendship between Antigua and Barbuda and the People\u2019s Republic of China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c This timely donation will strengthen our ability to serve and protect the people of Antigua and Barbuda with greater efficiency and effectiveness,\u201d<\/em> Acting Commissioner Jeffers stated.
\u201cIt also demonstrates the continued partnership and support of the People\u2019s Republic of China in advancing our national security objectives.\u201d_<\/em><\/p>

Mr. Jeffers also extended congratulations to the Government and people of the People\u2019s Republic of China on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of the Victory in the Chinese People\u2019s War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He described the anniversary as a historic milestone and a solemn reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of the Chinese people, adding that it stands as an inspiration to nations around the world in the pursuit of peace, freedom, and international security.<\/p>
