Caribbean Airlines Cancels St Maarten Flights Amid Hurricane Erin<\/strong><\/p>

Caribbean Airlines has cancelled services into and out of St Maarten on Saturday as Hurricane Erin moves through the northern Leeward Islands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline said flight BW 457<\/strong>, scheduled for August 16, will no longer operate on its Kingston\u2013St Maarten\u2013Trinidad route. Instead, the service will fly directly between Kingston, Jamaica, and Trinidad, bypassing St Maarten.<\/p>

Passengers booked on the cancelled sectors will be re-accommodated on the next available flights, the carrier confirmed.<\/p>

The re-routed flight is due to depart Kingston at 1:50pm local time and arrive in Trinidad at 5:35pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caribbean Airlines advised that affected customers are being contacted directly and encouraged travellers to register for real-time updates via its website. Flight status information is also available through the airline\u2019s homepage.<\/p>
