In a statement, DJ Jime said the decision was not taken lightly, but staging the large-scale production requires significant planning, and the available timeframe would not allow the team to deliver the event to their usual standard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat we do, while it is a business activity, is also a highly produced event that takes a lot of planning, and we cannot execute the way we want in the time space we have,\u201d he explained.<\/p>

The fete, a staple in Antigua and Barbuda\u2019s entertainment calendar, is expected to return in 2026 \u201cGod spare life\u201d, Jime confirmed.<\/p>
