Members\nof the population who are interested in getting information on Intellectual\nProperty Office and its functions will have the opportunity to participate in\nthe hosting of an Information Clinic being organized by the Office of\nIntellectual Property.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The\nInformation Clinic will be held at the Public Library on March 4th <\/sup>from\n2:30-4:30pm and every first Monday of every month until June 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commerce and Intellectual Property\nTechnical and Legal Officer Jeil Joseph will be the facilitator over the next\nfew months. Joseph says the first clinic was held in February and he was\npleased with the level of participation from members of the public.<\/p>

The establishment of the Information clinic was based on the fact\nthat persons often visited the Intellectual Property Office to ask questions,\nin some instances, answers were not forthcoming right away.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Joseph believes the Information Clinic would help to aid and\nanswer all questions about Intellectual Property that persons may have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All age groups of persons are<\/g> welcomed to participate in the clinic, mainly individuals who have interest<\/g> in starting a business. <\/p>

Topics that will be covered during the information clinic include, \u201chow to start a Business, How to incorporate a company and the difference in liability, what is Intellectual Property (Trade Mark, Patents), how business\/companies and IP correlate, how to use IP for financial benefit.     The information Clinic also will promote the use of the Intellectual Property website and what is coming for electronical<\/g> services.   <\/p>\n
