Three in Police Custody Following Large Seizure of Ammunition<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

St. John\u2019s, Antigua and Barbuda<\/a>, Friday, 1 August 2025<\/p>

The police have arrested three people following the execution of a search warrant that led to the discovery of a significant quantity of ammunition and firearm accessories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

At approximately 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, 31 July 2025, officers attached to the Gang and Guns Suppression Unit (GAGSU) executed a search warrant at a property in Sutherlands, and during the search, the following items were discovered and seized:<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Eleven (11) 12-gauge shotgun rounds,
Seven (7) 9mm rounds,
Thirty-six (36) 7.62mm rounds, Twenty (20) .22 rounds, Twenty-three (23) .45 rounds, Eighteen (18) .44 rounds, Seventeen (17) .25 rounds, Nine (9) .38 rounds,
Two (2) Smith & Wesson magazines, One (1) Glock 9mm magazine,
One (1) Smith & Wesson .40 caliber magazine, One (1) Sig Sauer 9mm magazine,
One (1) \u201cPatent Pending\u201d 9mm\/.40SW speed loader, and One (1) flat-back Chinese AK-47 magazine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result of the operation, a 30-year-old, 27-year-old, and 19-year-old, all of Sutherlands, were arrested and taken to the St. John\u2019s Police Station along with the items seized.
Investigations into the matter are ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
