Two Men Jailed for Firearm and Ammunition Possession<\/strong><\/p>

Two men have been sentenced to prison following separate convictions for firearm and ammunition offences.<\/p>

Jamall Prince<\/a><\/strong>, 39, of Seatons, was arrested on 17 June during a police operation targeting a suspect.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Officers observed three men together when one fled and attempted to hide between parked vehicles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although Prince <\/a><\/strong>was not found with any weapons, a search of the area uncovered a Smith & Wesson 9mm pistol hidden in nearby brush.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

He was sentenced to three years and five months in prison for possession of a firearm, and one year for possession of ammunition. The sentences will run concurrently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
