href=\"https:\/\/antiguanewsroom.com\/minister-of-education-hon-daryll-matthew-applauds-upps-belated-support-for-university-town-vision-in-five-islands\/?swcfpc=1\"> Minister Daryll Matthew <\/a><\/strong>has defended the government\u2019s decision to merge Glanvilles Secondary School with Pares Secondary School, describing the move as a necessary, evidence-based solution to ensure consolidation, which has been approved by Cabinet and will take effect at the start of the new academic year in September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube with enrolment steadily declining over the past decade.
