Jamaican humanitarian Dr. Onika P. Campbell-Rowe has been named the winner of the Emerging Caribbean Leader Award at the Caribbean POSH Icon Woman Awards<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ceremony, held in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands from 27 to 29 June, recognised outstanding Caribbean women making significant contributions in their respective fields.<\/p>

Dr. Campbell-Rowe, a United Nations Global Peace Ambassador affiliated with the Canadian International Chaplaincy Association, was honoured for her leadership and commitment to peace and social development.<\/p>

She also works with NGOs holding consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The organisers described her as a “trailblazer whose work is inspiring a new generation of Caribbean leaders.”<\/p>
