POLICE INVESTIGATE ROBBERY AND SHOOTING INCIDENT AT GRAY\u2019S FARM<\/em><\/p>

St. John\u2019s, Antigua and Barbuda \u2014 Sunday, 29 June 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police are searching for a suspect involved in a shooting incident that left a 54-year-old woman nursing a gunshot wound to her leg.<\/p>

The incident took place around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, 29 June, outside the Now and Later Supermarket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was reported that the woman was about to close her business place when she was accosted by an unknown male, who robbed her of an undisclosed amount of money and shot her in her left leg.<\/p>

The suspect is described as approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and dressed in a grey hoodie pulled over his head.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The victim was transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, where she is being treated. Medical personnel have also confirmed that her injury is not life-threatening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyone with information that may assist in identifying or locating the suspect is asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or call the Crimestoppers anonymous tip line at 800-TIPS (8477).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Police Administration is urging members of the public to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activity immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
