Public Utilities Authority (<a href=\"https:\/\/antiguanewsroom.com\/sixteen-join-apuas-prestigious-summer-internship-programme\/?swcfpc=1\">APUA<\/a>) for a comprehensive briefing on the progress of several key infrastructure projects currently underway.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The team reported that construction of the reverse osmosis plant at Barnacle Point is now 50% complete, while the Ffryes Beach desalination facility is operating at full capacity, producing up to one million gallons of water per day to support the nation\u2019s growing demand.<\/p><div id=\"antig-124210388\" Triangle to Grays Hill<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Further progress was reported on the following critical infrastructure projects:<\/p><div id=\"antig-836814400\" class=\"antig-content_2 antig-entity-placement\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.courts.com\/antigua\/\" aria-label=\"500X500 (1)\"><img src=\"https:\/\/mlavawteztbj.i.optimole.com\/w:500\/h:500\/q:mauto\/f:best\/https:\/\/antiguanewsroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/500X500-1.jpg\" alt=\"\"  srcset=\"https:\/\/mlavawteztbj.i.optimole.com\/w:500\/h:500\/q:mauto\/f:best\/https:\/\/antiguanewsroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/500X500-1.jpg 500w, https:\/\/mlavawteztbj.i.optimole.com\/w:300\/h:300\/q:mauto\/f:best\/https:\/\/antiguanewsroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/500X500-1.jpg 300w, progress, with completion expected within six weeks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Church Pond Project \u2013 95% completed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Crabbs Plant Site \u2013 removal of existing steel frame structure underway to facilitate construction of the new Crabbs Plant (formerly referred to as the Bethesda Plant)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fort James Ultra Filtration Project \u2013 fully completed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Cabinet reiterated its policy that APUA must maintain close coordination with the Ministry of Works for the repair and installation of water infrastructure, and for the subsequent resurfacing of affected roads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To this end, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/antiguanewsroom.com\/sixteen-join-apuas-prestigious-summer-internship-programme\/?swcfpc=1\">APUA <\/a><\/strong>is in the process of developing a standards document outlining best practices for pipe replacement and road reinstatement, which will be submitted to the Ministry of Housing and Works for approval.<\/p><div id=\"antig-2852523617\" class=\"antig-content_3 antig-entity-placement\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.antiguabarbudaculinarymonth.com\/\" aria-label=\"CM key_WEB 1300x300_1\"><img
