Dozens of workers at the Jolly Beach Resort welcomed the Antigua and Barbuda Workers’ Union  back to the property, marking the Union\u2019s first official visit since the hotel reopened more than two years ago.<\/p>

The visit follows the hotel management\u2019s recent decision to recognize the Union\u2019s right to represent employees and participate in collective bargaining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the session, Union representatives heard key concerns on wages, allowances, transportation, uniforms, and other workplace matters. Workers also used the opportunity to form a negotiating team to lead discussions on their behalf.<\/p>
