The National Bureau of Statistics, through the Census Office, reminds residents that Wednesday, June 25, 2025, has been officially designated as Census Day. Census Day marks the official reference point for the data being collected. It is the day on which every person residing or present in Antigua and Barbuda will be counted, regardless of when they are interviewed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The National Population and Housing Census involves all residents of Antigua and Barbuda and is a vital national exercise that provides accurate and up-to-date information about the population and living conditions across the twin-island nation.<\/p>

Data collected will be used to inform policies, guide development planning, and improve services in areas such as health, education, infrastructure, and employment.<\/p>

The theme for this year\u2019s census is: \u201cMapping the Present, Shaping the Future.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enumerators will soon undergo extensive training to prepare them thoroughly for visiting households nationwide. All residents are encouraged to provide honest and complete answers to ensure thorough and accurate data collection.<\/p>

The Census Office assures the public that all information collected will be kept strictly confidential and used only for statistical purposes.<\/p>
