The Ministry of Agriculture<\/a><\/strong>, Lands, Fisheries, and the Blue Economy in collaboration with the Ministry of Education will be hosting the first Internship Program from Monday, 30th June until 25th July, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme will offer a month-long exposure in various areas within the Agricultural sector for fifteen fifth-form Agricultural Science students from Government Secondary Schools.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The selected students will receive hands-on applications\/experiences in areas such as agro-processing, animal production, aquaponics, beekeeping, crop production, drone operation, fisheries and hydroponics.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The internship was designed to bridge the gap between classroom theoretical knowledge and the real-world practicalities\/challenges of food security, food sovereignty, sustainable farming and the dynamics of the sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only youths with serious intentions to pursue professions and entrepreneurships within the sector will be considered. <\/p>
