The APUA Water Business Unit wishes to inform the general public that emergency replacement and repair work will occur along Independence Avenue, between Long Street and High Street, beginning at approximately 6:00 p.m. this evening.<\/p>

This action follows reoccurrences of pipeline ruptures over the past few days. While our team conducted initial repairs, the age and fragility of the existing infrastructure have contributed to ongoing challenges, prompting the need for more extensive and lasting solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To facilitate the repairs safely, this section of the roadway will be temporarily closed to vehicular traffic.<\/p>

As a result, customers in Kings Obstinate Drive up to Green Bay, Ovals, Camacho Avenue, and along the eastern side of Corn Alley to Independence Avenue may experience a temporary disruption in water supply during this time.<\/p>

We recognize the inconvenience these repeated disruptions may cause and sincerely thank the public for your continued patience and understanding.
