The\u00a0APUA Water Business Unit\u00a0wishes to advise the general public that emergency maintenance will be conducted this morning, beginning at approximately 10:00 a.m., along Independence Avenue between St. Mary\u2019s Street and High Street.<\/p>

This is in response to a ruptured mainline. While initial repairs were carried out yesterday evening, the fragility of the aged infrastructure caused an additional rupture in the area, requiring immediate attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result, this section of the roadway will be temporarily closed to vehicular traffic to facilitate repairs.<\/a><\/p>

Consequently, customers in Kings Obstinate Drive up to Green Bay, Ovals, Camacho Avenue, and along the eastern side of Corn Alley to Independence Avenue will experience a temporary disruption in their water supply.<\/p>
