Ian Joseph, widely regarded as Antigua and Barbuda\u2019s unofficial Cultural Ambassador, has returned to the United States following his participation as an honorary guest at the 25th International Africa Festival in T\u00fcbingen, Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The annual event, held from 5 to 8 June, marked a quarter-century of celebrating African heritage and strengthening ties across the African diaspora. This year\u2019s theme\u2014Africa\u2019s Future: Connecting the Diaspora, Investment and Sustainable Development<\/em>\u2014brought together cultural leaders, development partners, and community advocates from across the globe.<\/p>

Joseph contributed to the programme with a series of lectures highlighting the history of the Bethesda community in Antigua, particularly its legacy of providing education to formerly enslaved individuals following emancipation.
