AKINI WALKER CHARGED WITH UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF FIREARM & AMMUNITION<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police have arrested and charged 27-year-old Akini Walker of Cassada Gardens for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Ammunition.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Around 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 1, a team of police officers executed a search warrant at the residence of the accused. During the operation, officers discovered one (1) FN rifle and eighteen (18) rounds of 7.62 calibre ammunition. The firearm and ammunition were seized, and Walker was arrested at the scene and taken into police custody.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

He has since been charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Walker is expected to appear before the court on Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda remains committed to removing illegal firearms from the streets and ensuring the continued safety and security of all citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
