Island Clinics to Get Major Upgrade with $10M Green Climate Fund Grant<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ten community clinics across Antigua and Barbuda are set for major renovations as part of a $10 million project aimed at strengthening the country\u2019s primary healthcare system.<\/p>

Minister of State in the Ministry of Health, Michael Joseph<\/a><\/strong>Michael Joseph,<\/a><\/strong> announced that the upgrades will include new three-storey buildings, with dedicated storage areas and modern layouts. <\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The plans have already received structural approval, and technical teams are finalizing operational designs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWith this injection of funding, the aim is to strengthen primary health care,\u201d Joseph<\/a><\/strong> said, noting that the upgrades will ease pressure on hospitals and improve access to care at the community level.<\/p>
