The Antigua and Barbuda Hotels and Tourist Association (AHTA) today to announced the appointment of Patrice Simon as Executive Director.<\/p>

Mrs. Simon will lead the AHTA\nteam focusing on the core organizational goal of ensuring co-operation between\nits membership hotels, guest houses, and other related businesses with the Government\nof Antigua and Barbuda and international stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c<\/em>We are\npleased to welcome Mrs. Simon to the Association. She brings her broad\nknowledge and expertise to the continued advancement and mutual co-operation of\nthe sector where it is essential that the AHTA\nworks closely with the Government and Government-sponsored bodies on\nmatters affecting the Tourist Industry\u201d<\/em> remarked Alex deBrito, Chairman of Board\nof the AHTA.<\/p>

Mrs. Simon brings over fifteen years of knowledge\nand marketing experience to her role as Executive Director, having worked previously\nas a Marketing Manager in the hospitality industry and more recently as a\nRegional Marketing Manager in the telecoms sector.<\/p>
