ABS- <\/strong>A new date has been set for the man accused of killing former St. Peter MP Asot Michael<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Acting Chief Magistrate Dexter Wason has pushed back the case against Alexta Francis, after revealing the prosecution\u2019s file is still not ready for committal.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n


Francis made his third court appearance today in the St. John’s Magistrates’ Court since his arrest last November.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n


He’s accused of stabbing the high-profile former parliamentarian to death at his Dry Hill residence on November 5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Police arrested and charged Francis just three days later. In court, Francis was again represented by Attorney Leon Symister.<\/p>

The case is now adjourned to September 3, with the court awaiting key documents to move the matter forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
