The Guyana Police Force has confirmed that 11-year-old Adriana Younge died from drowning, according to the final post-mortem report conducted by three international pathologists.<\/p>

Adriana was found unresponsive in the swimming pool of the Double Day International Hotel on 24 April 2025. Pathologists concluded she likely sank to the bottom of the pool and later resurfaced due to natural decomposition\u2014an occurrence not uncommon in tropical climates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite the official ruling, her family continues to question the circumstances surrounding her death. Her body was flown to the United States on Monday for an independent autopsy.<\/p>
