Antigua and Barbuda\u2019s cruise <\/a><\/strong>sector has hit a new milestone, with officials confirming a record 410 cruise ship calls for the 2024\u20132025 season.<\/p>

The figures were revealed during Monday\u2019s Cruise Connect forum at the Treasury Building, where tourism and port officials gathered to discuss the booming industry.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

January alone saw 98 calls\u2014the highest monthly total ever recorded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tourism Minister Charles Fernandez, along with immigration, law enforcement, and other key stakeholders, joined the discussion as plans were laid out to enhance visitor experience and capture more economic benefits ahead of the 2025\u20132026 season.<\/p>

Meanwhile, cruise calls to Barbuda <\/a><\/strong>are also on the rise, with the number expected to surpass last season\u2019s total of 18, marking a significant step forward for the sister island\u2019s tourism development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
