St John\u2019s, Antigua and Barbuda<\/em> \u2014 The Cabinet has approved a new public education campaign aimed at raising awareness about prostate cancer, marking the government\u2019s latest step in addressing non-communicable diseases (NCDs) through early detection and prevention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Health Minister Sir Molwyn Joseph received Cabinet backing to spearhead the initiative, which will complement the ongoing cervical cancer campaign. The programme will include public outreach, education sessions, and screening opportunities for men across the country.<\/p>

Announcing the decision during Thursday\u2019s post-Cabinet briefing, Director General of Communications Maurice Merchant said the campaign responds to growing concern about the impact of prostate cancer in Antigua and Barbuda.<\/p>
