ABS<\/strong>– The Customs and Excise Division has revealed an increase in revenue collection by over 9% for the first four months of 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Comptroller of Customs, Raju Boodoo,<\/a><\/strong> reveals figures between January and April 2025 increased by 9.3% when compared to the same period in 2024.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Boodoo <\/a><\/strong>confirms the Division had collected more than EC$173.4 million dollars at the end of April 2025, surpassing the EC$158.6 million collected at the end of April 2024.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n


The Comptroller has also confirmed receipts as at May 20, 2025, had already eclipsed EC$200million. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Boodoo notes while the country is on track to surpass 2024 receipts, there is a need to watch how proposed increased U.S. tariffs will affect imports going forward.<\/p>
