An Antiguan woman who had been missing for more than 34 years has been located in Venezuela and is set to return home on a private charter flight arranged with the assistance of the Venezuelan government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prime Minister Gaston Browne confirmed the development revealing that the Government of Antigua and Barbuda sponsored the woman\u2019s family members to travel to Caracas to facilitate her repatriation. <\/p>

He added that President Nicol\u00e1s Maduro of Venezuela had “benevolently authorized a private charter to fly her and family members back to Antigua” on Monday.<\/p>

\u201cGod is good!\u201d Browne wrote on his official Facebook page, celebrating the reunion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The woman, whose name has not yet been made public, had reportedly been living undocumented in Venezuela for decades. According to reports from Antigua News Room<\/em>, the long-lost family member was rediscovered after making contact with relatives through social media platforms. Prime Minister Browne personally spoke with her to confirm her identity and assess her situation.<\/p>
