A man found guilty of causing death by dangerous driving will be sentenced in July, more than three years after the fatal incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kevon Small<\/a><\/strong> was convicted in April for the death of 50-year-old Colin Anderson Joseph, who was struck by a vehicle at the Market and New Streets junction on 1 September 2021.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>
\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Video evidence showed Joseph attempting to cross the road when Small\u2019s vehicle turned into the intersection, hitting and running over him.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Joseph suffered a skull fracture and other serious injuries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He died at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre after being placed on a ventilator.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Kevon Small<\/a><\/strong>, 34 at the time, told the court he had a medical condition brought on by stress and exhaustion, but no supporting evidence was provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Justice Ann-Marie Smith, who presided over the case, will now sentence Small on 11 July.<\/p>
