Antigua and Barbuda will be well represented at the upcoming Caribbean Posh Icon Women Awards<\/a><\/strong>, with several of the island\u2019s women earning nominations across a range of categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set to take place in Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands from 27 to 29 June, the awards celebrate Caribbean women making a mark in business, the arts, community leadership and cultural preservation.<\/p>

Carlene Spencer, Learning and Development Manager at Sandals Grande Antigua, stands out with dual nominations\u2014for Tourism Excellence and Education Innovation\u2014highlighting her influence in hospitality and training.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Fitness expert Kevinia Francis and Herbal Harmony CEO Kelesha Antoine are both shortlisted for the Wellness Innovator Award, in recognition of their work promoting holistic health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Founders Award, aimed at spotlighting brand-building entrepreneurs, features Tamorla Millette of Party Perfect Antigua for her community-driven business model.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Environmental stewardship is another area where Antiguans are being recognised. Refica Attwood of Wallings Nature Reserve and Sasha Middleton, a climate justice advocate, are both nominated. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Middleton also appears in two other categories: Emerging Caribbean Leader and Community & Culture Impact.<\/p>

Entrepreneur Keisha Knight, of Knight Legacy Farm and Mill Reef Club, is among the finalists for the Entrepreneur Excellence Award\u2014the most competitive category. She is also up for the Empowerment in Action Award.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Other nominees include Charity Henry, recognised in the Artistry in Beauty category for her work as a make-up artist, and mental health advocate Chaneil Imhoff, nominated for the Health Advocate Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Caribbean Posh Awards<\/a><\/strong> aim to honour outstanding women while fostering unity and economic growth. Winners will be announced during the Caribbean Posh Weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
