TWO SUSPECTS IN POLICE CUSTODY FOR ALLEGED THEFT OF VEHICLE<\/p>\n\n\n\n

St. John\u2019s, Antigua and Barbuda \u2014 Thursday, May 15, 2025<\/p>

The police are questioning two male suspects in connection with the alleged the of a motor vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Around 2 a.m. on Thursday, May 15, officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Department were conducting mobile patrols in the Villa area when they intercepted a silver Toyota Vitz <\/a><\/strong>that had been reported stolen.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Two occupants, a 16-year-old and an adult male, were apprehended and taken into police custody.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The said vehicle was reportedly stolen from the owner on Tuesday, May 13, in the vicinity of the Antigua Grammar School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was taken to the Police Headquarters for further forensic examination. Further investigations are ongoing into the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyone with information that can further assist the police with their investigation is asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913\/14 or call Crimestoppers at 800-TIPs (8477).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
