Statchel Edwards, Director of the National Bureau of Statistics, confirmed that no census staff have been deployed ahead of the 2025 Housing and Population Census, which begins next month.<\/p>

\u201cThere\u2019s no one that\u2019s actually doing census <\/a><\/strong>taking at this point in time,\u201d he said, urging residents to be cautious of anyone claiming otherwise.<\/p>

Edwards assured that once data collection begins, the public will be clearly informed. Official census workers will wear vests marked \u201cCensus 2025\u201d, carry official IDs, and follow clearly communicated procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Census Day is scheduled for 25 June.<\/p>
