Antigua and Barbuda\u2019s<\/a><\/strong> Foreign Minister, E.P. Chet Greene, has urged stronger cooperation between China, Latin America and the Caribbean, warning that global tensions risk severely impacting the Global South.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking at the 4th China-CELAC<\/a><\/strong> Forum in Beijing, Mr Greene said unchecked geopolitical strains could surpass the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>

He called for unity and multilateral action, particularly on issues such as climate change, food security and pandemic preparedness.<\/p>

The minister expressed support for the Beijing Declaration 2025 and the China-CELAC <\/a><\/strong>Joint Action Plan (2025\u20132027), which focus on deepening trade and cooperation in education, technology and climate resilience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Antigua and Barbuda <\/a><\/strong>delegation included senior officials, underlining the country\u2019s commitment to advancing regional dialogue and development.<\/p>
