ANDRE SOLOMON CHARGED WITH MULTIPLE DRUG-RELATED OFFENCES<\/em><\/p>

St. John\u2019s, Antigua and Barbuda \u2014 Friday, May 9, 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The police have arrested and formally charged 44-year-old Andre Solomon<\/a><\/strong> of Pares Main Road in connection with multiple drug-related offences.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

On Wednesday, April 30, police executed search warrants at properties located on Pares Main Road and in Parham, both occupied by Solomon, and seized 191.9 grams of cannabis, 2 \u00bc pounds of cannabis, and 790 cannabis plants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was subsequently charged with Unlawful Possession of 191.9 grams of Cannabis, Unlawful Possession of 2 \u00bc pounds of Cannabis, Possession of 790 Cannabis Plants, and Unlawful Cultivation of 790 Cannabis Plants.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, on Wednesday, May 7, police executed another search warrant at Solomon\u2019s residence in Hodges Bay and seized an additional 4 \u00bd pounds of cannabis. <\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

He was further charged in connection with that offence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Solomon <\/a><\/strong>is also being questioned as a person of interest in several other ongoing police investigations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is expected to appear before the court today to answer to the drug-related charges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
