Shooting Case Sent to September Assizes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Villa man<\/a><\/strong> accused of shooting another individual with a modified flare gun will stand trial in the September assizes.<\/p>

Iandre Williams, now 22, faces multiple charges over a September 11, 2024, incident on Hans Street, Villa<\/a><\/strong>, where he allegedly shot Zahvante Hill, then 24, during an altercation.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

He is charged with unlawful possession of a modified flare gun, possession of a .32 round of ammunition, shooting with intent to murder, and wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel committed the case to the High Court this week.<\/p>
