Residents in low-lying and flood-prone areas should make preparations to safeguard life and property by moving to higher ground if flooding rains develop or a flash flood warning is issued.<\/p>

A trough over the Leeward Islands is creating unstable conditions over the area. This, along with favorable conditions forecast to develop in the upper atmosphere, could further enhance the potential for heavier showers into early tomorrow, which could lead to flooding in some areas. This watch could be upgraded to a warning at short notice.<\/p>
