POLICE PROBING SHOOTING INCIDENT IN VILLA<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

St. John\u2019s, Antigua and Barbuda \u2014 Thursday, May 1, 2025<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting incident that occurred in Villa <\/a><\/strong>during the early hours of Thursday morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Initial reports indicate that a 27-year-old male was shot by an unknown assailant and sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
He was subsequently transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, where he is currently receiving medical treatment. <\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

His injury is reported not to be life-threatening. Further investigations are ongoing.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, the police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information that could assist in the investigation to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or 462-3914. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Information can also be shared anonymously by calling the Crimestoppers Hotline at 800-TIPS (8477).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
