ST. JOHN\u2019S, (APRIL 25, 2025) \u2013 <\/strong>Christine Powell, a delegate in the Labour Queen 2025 Pageant representing the Honourable Gaston Browne and the constituency of St. John\u2019s City West, is already proving herself to be a delegate of purpose, passion, and profound impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week, Powell embarked on a two-day community outreach initiative aimed at uplifting the youth of City West.<\/p>

Accompanied by Prime Minister Browne, she visited the Villa Primary School, where she distributed school backpacks to students, read engaging stories, and encouraged them to dream big.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n
\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

“Children need more than supplies, they need to see people who believe in them,” Powell shared. “Today I wasn\u2019t just a pageant delegate. I was a big sister, a motivator, and most of all, a believer in their dreams.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She also led an engaging, interactive motivational session at the Villa Polyclinic on April 24, titled \u201cYou Can Be Anything!\u201d Designed for Grade 6 students, the session featured printed images of everyday professionals, as Powell guided the students in visualizing their own future possibilities.<\/p>

The session concluded with students sharing their dream careers, which Powell affirmed with inspiring words tailored to each child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Powell\u2019s message was clear: \u201cThere\u2019s no dream too big when you believe in yourself and put in the work.\u201d<\/p>

The Honourable Gaston Browne praised Powell\u2019s initiative, stating:<\/p>

\u201cChristine is a shining example of what it means to give back with purpose. Her passion for uplifting others reflects the true spirit of the Labour Queen Pageant, service, sincerity, and strength.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She reminds me so much of the giving spirit of the people of City West. Like me, Christine comes from humble beginnings, and it\u2019s clear that she\u2019s using her platform to empower the next generation, just as we were once empowered.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to this week\u2019s outreach, Powell has previously participated in public consultations and continues to express a strong desire to support the development of the constituency and its people.
