Murder suspect, Calvin \u201cBurger\u201d James was remanded to prison today when he made his first court appearance since being captured by police over the weekend.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The man, who eluded police for over three months is facing eight charges following a double-murder incident in Donavans on October 5 last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

James was charged with two counts of murder after he allegedly shot and killed his niece, Tahisha Thomas and his nephew\u2019s girlfriend,Sanchezca Charles.<\/p>

He was also charged with attempted murder for shooting his nephew, Lawrence James during the same incident.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Other charges include two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, two counts of unlawful possession of ammunition and one count of larceny.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His is due back in the Magistrates Court for committal proceedings on April 11<\/p>
