Member Accused of Criminal Offence<\/p>

The Antigua and Barbuda<\/a><\/strong> Defence Force (ABDF) confirms that one of its members is currently under investigation in connection with a criminal offence involving an illegal substance.<\/p>

In keeping with its obligations under the Defence Act, 2006, and guided by the principles of due process, the ABDF initiated internal proceedings to address the matter in accordance with established military protocols.

However, it was determined that the case would proceed under civilian jurisdiction.<\/p>
