The Food and\nBeverage Manager is responsible for coordinating, supervising and directing all\naspects of the food and beverage operation, ensuring that all hospitality\nrequirements are supported with the highest levels of service. They must be a strong,\nenthusiastic leader with a passion for hospitality, coupled with extensive\nknowledge of the food and beverage industry.<\/p>

Key\nTasks<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manage the entire food and beverage operation \u00b7 Hire and train staff according to\nclub standards \u00b7  Establish standards, policies and procedures\nfor the efficient operation of all food service venues \u00b7 Conduct ongoing training to meet\nstandards of food preparation, presentation, service and cleanliness \u00b7 Ensure cost-efficient scheduling\nof food and beverage staff \u00b7 Monitor and\ncontrol departmental costs \u00b7 Ensure\nup-to-date knowledge on all menu items including preparation, allergens and\nalternative preparations \u00b7 Promote a\nclean, safe and neat environment \u00b7 Plan menus in conjunction with\nthe Chef de Cuisine \u00b7 Maintain\ncomplete knowledge of industry trends \u00b7 Ensure compliance with all local\nlaws and health regulations \u00b7 Closely\nmonitor guest dining experience  \u00b7 Participate in the development of\noperating budgets <\/p>
